About the position

The new Global Renewables Director, will spearhead the expansion of offshore wind projects, including multi-contracting and EPCI partnerships with cable producers, as well as maintenance, repair, surveying, and mapping. The focus will be primarily on Europe, with significant activities across the Americas, Africa, and the Far East.

Over the next five years, you will scale the offshore wind portfolio significantly. You will proactively identify market opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and set the agenda for growth and investment, leveraging your network of industry stakeholders. You are a visionary leader driven by a commitment to a sustainable future. With deep industry expertise, a strong network in offshore wind, and an entrepreneurial mindset, you are ready to lead the company’s ambitious growth in this dynamic sector.

You will lead and build teams based in the UK, Norway and the Netherlands, working closely with an experienced management team that includes the Operations, Commercial, and Legal Director. Building strong collaboration, improving teamwork, and enhancing operational and commercial performance will be key priorities as you drive sustainable growth.

Your leadership will be instrumental in building and inspiring a motivated, high-performing team capable of delivering on ambitious growth targets. You will build and inspire a high-performing team, ensuring operational excellence and strengthening the organisation’s reputation as a trusted offshore wind partner.

Your profile

  • In-depth knowledge of renewable offshore energy markets, preferably in 'Array Cables'
  • Strong leadership and people management abilities
  • Strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability
  • Proven track record in sales with a high level of commercial and financial awareness
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
