About the position

We are looking for an experienced Interim Senior HR Generalist DACH to support the HR operations of an international organization in the medical technology industry.

The assignment will run for a minimum of four months, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs. The role can be carried out fully remotely from anywhere in Europe, with occasional travel to Germany if required.

You will be responsible for providing HR support across the DACH region, with a strong focus on Germany. The role combines hands-on HR management with strategic advisory work. You will handle the full HR lifecycle — including recruitment, onboarding, employee check-ins, benefits management, and offboarding — while ensuring compliance with local employment laws. A key part of the role involves advising managers on German labor law and people-related matters, in close collaboration with the CHRO in the U.S. and the global HR team.

Your profile

  • Broad HR generalist experience, preferably within an international environment.
  • Strong, practical knowledge of German employment law and related HR processes.
  • Experience managing the full employee lifecycle — from recruitment to exit.
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Able to work independently and operate effectively across multiple countries and time zones.
  • Pragmatic, adaptable, and comfortable combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
